Client Review: Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta

Katy and her husband were looking for a getaway with great activities. I recommended the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta. The Hard Rock Resorts offer up to $1,500 resort credits based on your length of stay. All photos are courtesy of Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta.

Here's Katy's Review:

We enjoyed the trip very much. At first I was disappointed that the resort didn't feel more tropical or beach like but it grew on me.

Overall the food was pretty good. We ate at Ciao (Italian) with ocean views and saw a great sunset the first night.

We ate at Zen (Asian) the second night, it was pretty good.

IPanema the third night, my favorite! Brazilian, amazing, save room for dessert!

Went back to Ciao the last night and enjoyed another amazing sunset.

We did not eat at the Mexican restaurant for dinner. It is also by the ocean but we heard from several other guests that the food was not good.

Breakfast is buffet but they do made to order Crepes and omelets. They also have a great smoothie menu.

Lunch we ate poolside each day brought to us by our awesome waiter Samuel. Tip your pool or beach waiter every day and you get amazing service! He brought us our drinks without asking. He knew what we wanted and we had our lunch within minutes.

We used our resort credits to swim with the dolphins. Have never done this before and loved it! We used the rest of our credits for a couples massage.

I was pleased that our mini bar was fully restocked each day, the last all-inclusive we stayed at did not do this.

The workout facility is on the small side but worked for me. I did not end up having any problems getting to use equipment.

The Sun Bar was nice. We checked in on Sunday so it was full of guests watching playoff football. I think we hung out there with other guests 2 of the nights.

I liked the size of this resort, I felt it led to a friendly atmosphere amongst the guests and we met some great people!

I also like the location of this resort. It's located near other resorts and condos. It felt very safe, and to get back to the area you have to go through a checkpoint. When I went to Cancun, I didn't have that same comfort level.

No problems with Apple, the flights or our airport transfers. We did cut it a little tight in Houston making our connection to St. Louis but we knew that.

We would definitely go back to Puerta Vallarta and the Hard Rock.

Thank you so much for everything!
