Guest Review: Azul Riviera Cancun
Angie
Donnis and her family were looking for a family all inclusive resort for 5 adults and 5 kids aged 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12.
I curated a list of options for and they picked Azul Riviera Cancun. The large guaranteed connecting suites, kids' program, great dining, and evening entertainment were a good fit.
As a reminder, here's my resort tour followed by Donnis' review.
The trip was wonderful. This was the first trip our entire
family had taken together since 2007. Thank you for making this trip so special. Your recommendation of Azul Cancun was perfect!
The venue was beyond our expectation. The food was liked by
all of our group and the variety fit all of our pallets. I think the favorite
was Spoons. The restaurant which featured a different culture each evening. Our
grands were very excited over the dessert bar which was to be expected.
The rooms and the facility were beautiful. Very roomy,
totally fit our needs in the suite arrangement with one king and the two double
beds. The balconies offered an excellent view of the entire resort and also of
the water. Room service was a major hit with our grands and the resort came
through once again in the food area. Kids loved it!
The evening shows were so exciting, very interesting and
offered a great variety of entertainment following a day of poolside and lots
of play for the kids. One of my favorite items was the Mayans folkloric dance.
Another one was the circus performance which was a huge hit among all of the
grands and my husband.
The items that may not have been as popular were the daily
kids' activities. The younger ones enjoyed the kids time yet the older ones were
a little too old for it which didn’t truly address their interest.
The girls
and I will look at the venue next time to see if the tweens have the
opportunity for things that are geared more toward their age group. The
Nickelodeon components listed in the venue opportunities were not available.
During our time there the Nickelodeon store closed. So we must’ve hit it during
a transition. Overall, not a major deterrent. Of course, the seaweed decided to
come in. So beach opportunity with sand and clear water was not available.
However, this was again not a deterrent.
All of our group found areas in which they loved. I would
have to say one of the most popular was poolside or in the pool with the swim
up bar available. The entire group benefited from the poolside bar.
