Sandals Royal Caribbean is an adults only all inclusive resort ten minutes from the Montego Bay airport. One of the key features of this resort is the private island with two restaurants, a pool with swim up bar, two beach areas, and the over water bungalows. This is the most accessible of the Sandals resorts. The water is clear and beautiful.
I loved the private island. We'd
have breakfast, enjoy sitting by the ocean watching the snorkeling,
scuba, and glass bottom boats come and go. Then, we'd head over the
private island enjoy the swim up bar and jerk chicken shack. I was so
relaxed. No loud music. No
water volleyball games. I love when there's a view of the ocean from the swim up bar. I highly recommend!

Plus they have over-the-water bungalows.
They cost about the same as a trip to Tahiti, but you have a shorter
flights, all your food and drinks are included, and lots of activities
are a boat ride away. My husband and I have never put Tahiti on our
bucket list because we thought it'd be too quiet for us. This set up is
perfect. We could enjoy quiet time in the bungalow and head to the
resort for activities, an evening show or joining everyone for a late
night at the pub when we wanted something else to do.
