What's New at Disney World - Fall 2016

The Epcot Food and Wine Festival continues through November 14th.


The new Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package allows you to enjoy lunch at Tony's Town Square Restaurant with VIP viewing at the parade.




You can take a mid-day break as they enjoy a delicious three-course lunch, including choice of appetizer, entrĂ©e, dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage from the standard lunch menu at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, which includes hearty Italian favorites such as spaghetti with meatballs, chicken parmigiana and artisanal pizza.
During the meal, you’ll receive a voucher for their reserved viewing of the popular
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade – a magical mix of floats, costumes, music and Characters that celebrates the spirit of Disney.
The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining package is $45 for adults and $17 for children (9 and under) plus tax and gratuity. It is one table-service entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan.

“The Muppets Present … Great Moments in American History.”



Hosted by James “J.J.” Jefferson, town crier of Liberty Square, and Sam Eagle, the fiercely patriotic American eagle who is forever trying to set a high moral standard for the Muppets, this wacky new show is set to take place several times daily, just outside The Hall of Presidents.



Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Returns



Mickey Mouse presides over the holiday festivities during this enchanting after-hours party that showcases special entertainment, including “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” and a holiday edition of the fireworks spectacular “Wishes,” as well as meet-and-greet opportunities with favorite Disney Characters in holiday attire.

Plus, “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” will make its debut for the 2016 holiday season. In this brand new stage show, Mickey and his pals invite some of their friends for an unforgettable Christmas party filled with music, dancing, color and fun. Look forward to seeing Woody and Jessie from “Toy Story,” Fantasyland friends such as Peter Pan and Snow White and many more. Presented on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage, “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration features special effects, magical projections and festive holiday music.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on the following nights:

  • November – 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27 and 29
  • December – 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18 and 2

And, you can  sweeten their night at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with a holly-jolly premium experience. The Wishes Fireworks Holiday Dessert Premium Package gives your Clients the chance to soak up the enchanting sight of “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” from a special reserved location on Main Street, U.S.A.

After the parade, you will head to the Tomorrowland Terrace for a private dessert party where you’ll enjoy sweet treats and fantastic views of Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks. Each premium package costs $79 for adults and $47 for children ages 3-9 (tax not included). Please note a separate ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is required and is not included in the price of this package.




The all-new  “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” holiday spectacular comes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at Walt Disney World® Resort on Nov. 14, 2016.

Santa Claus is missing and the search-and-rescue mission to get The Big Guy back to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve is all part of the fun. The show comes to life on, above and around the Chinese Theater with state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks and a rousing seasonal musical score.

Led by elves Wayne and Lanny, the duo from ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” the spirited yuletide adventure to the North Pole features memorable holiday moments from Disney films including “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and more, all building to a festive finale that’s “So tinsel!”


Beginning Nov. 24, 2016 Princess Elena of Avalor will begin to greet Guests alongside other royal friends at Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom® Park at Walt Disney World® Resort.



At Princess Fairytale Hall, you can choose between a meeting with Elena and Cinderella or a visit with Rapunzel and Tiana. FastPass+ reservations for dates that include Elena appearances are now available.
