St. Maarten is a popular Caribbean island destination shared by two countries: the Dutch side, Sint Maarten, and the French side, Saint Martin. The island is famous for its white-sand beaches, turquoise water, warm tropical climate, and blend of European and Caribbean culture.
The Dutch side is lively and entertainment-focused, offering casinos, resorts,
nightlife, cruise ports, and shopping in Philipsburg. The French side is
quieter and more relaxed, known for fine dining, boutique hotels, and scenic
beaches around Marigot.
Tourists visit the island for swimming, snorkeling, sailing, scuba diving, and
