I just got this great letter from my honeymoon clients returning from their European cruise honeymoon on the Celebrity Reflection.
"Our cruise was absolutely amazing! The Celebrity Reflection ship is
stunning and so new! The food in Blu was spectacular and we also went
to the specialty sushi restaurant one night which was amazing as well!
The hotel in Rome was also very nice and a great location since we could
walk everywhere. We also ended up upgrading to the premium package for
only $185 so we were really happy we did that.
Our
favorite places were Rome, Mykonos and Santorini. We would love to go
back to those places.
Naples was also a great city because there were so
many different areas to go to (Positano, Sorrento, Capri and Amalfi),
we wish we had more time there. In Naples we decided to take the public
ferry and go to Capri, which was such a cool island. It was raining that
day tho so we ate and drank our way through Capri haha. We also went to
Lindos in Rhodes, which was this adorable little town with an amazing
beach/lagoon. We spent the day at the beach and exploring the town.
The
tours in Rome and Ephesus were amazing! Travis and I learned that if we
do a tour we prefer spending a little more to have a private tour (6 or
less people) versus taking a coach bus with a group of people. In
Mykonos and Santorini we rented an ATV and explored the islands on our
own which was so fun and that we were able to see everything and move at
our own pace :) Moving forward we will book all of the excursions ahead
of time or explore on our own with researching beforehand.
Our
room was amazing! Very spacious, clean, and lots of storage. We
absolutely loved having a balcony and I don't think we will ever go on a
cruise without one now. We only went to the spa one day lol. We felt
that we were so on the go and wanting to see so much we barely made it
in there. The day we did we had a hard time sitting still and one of the
rooms smelled very bad :(
Travis and I fell in
love with Europe and cruising! We loved that we were able to see so
much of Italy, Greece and Turkey while relaxing along the way. My
favorite part was that we traveled at night, every day was a new
adventure, and that you were waited on hand and foot on the ship. It is
like a moving all-inclusive. We will be definitely doing another one!
