Cabo All Inclusive: Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf and Spa Resort

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf and Spa Resort is an adults only all inclusive resort about 45 minutes from the SJD Cabo Airport. The resort sits right in the middle of a 27 hole golf course. You can watch golfers on the 6th hole from the Preferred Club infinity pool.

Secrets Cabo has  five restaurants plus a coffee shop and poolside grill. The only dining option that requires reservations is the teppanyaki tables at the Asian restaurants. We thought the food in general was very good. We didn't love the steak. We've often had trouble getting "good" steaks in Mexico.

We stayed in August 2020. I was very impressed with the COVID precautions. Plexiglass was added to the check in, the bars, and the hostess stands. All the staff are wearing masks all the time. Hand sanitizer is offered at the entrance at each restaurant and when ordering at the bar. Bar waiters will also bring it to you.

Service: Zule at the Preferred Club Pool, Abel and Salomon at the main pool were terrific. The Barefoot Grill was closed, but these great servers brought lunch right to our pool chair.

Dining:  A huge thank you to the terrific job by Executive Chef Israel and his whole team.

Portfino (Italian) - Salvatore was great. We dined outside in the little courtyard. I think the lasagna was the best dish we had. This was the only restaurant that required pants for men for outside seating. The other restaurants allowed him to wear shorts if we sat outside.

Oceana - Great food here. The views can't be beat either. I really like octopus and they did a terrific job with it.

Seaside Grill - We ate lunch here almost every day. Martin was a terrific server. Manager Brenda made sure everything was great. Chef Roxana really wow'd us with some of her dishes. One favorite appetizer was the Pescadillas. I also love the raw tuna.

HImitsu - We sat outside so we didn't need reservations.  The teppanyaki tables are the only dining option that required reservations. Food was great. Humberto was a great server. Chef Edwin did a terrific job.

El Patio - This was very popular during our stay. I had the mole enchiladas - so good. Service was a bit slow because the patio filled up very quickly and only had a team of three people serving. One head waiter. Another person delivered food and another cleared plates. I liked that the person who cleared plates only cleared plates.

Entertainment - During stay, a group themed after the Three Tenors performed. A casino night was outside. A guitar player played one night. Desires the night club is closed due to COViD regulations in Baja.
