Review: Hyatt Clearwater

I was looking for a nice hotel on the beach for a girls' weekend. The Hyatt Clearwater was a great find. The rooms have mini - kitchens plus balconies so it is a great spot for families or just catching up with a dear friend. The resort fee includes wifi, the gym, self service laundry and 2 bottles of water a day. 

The beach is gorgeous and you can walk down to the main Clearwater area. 

Frenchy's is a short walk south. If you don't feel like leaving the resort, the resort houses three restaurants and the room service was fantastic - fast, fresh and reasonably priced. 

One downside is the pool. It is located on the 8th floor in a U carve out of the building so it does not get a lot of sun. It was very windy that day we visited. 

I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a great base to explore the Clearwater area.
